Multibeam Processing
Tekmap processed multibeam data and produced map products for more than 100 survey areas across Canada, the USA, and Bermuda.
Search for Swissair Flight 111
We provided on site assistance with the search for Swissair Flight 111 in St. Margaret's Bay, Nova Scotia on board C.S.S. Matthew. This included:
- Processing sidescan data and producing map products.
- Incorporating multibeam data into map products.
- Incorporating sidescan and related data from all other survey vessels.
- Providing general GIS data manipulation and presentation.
Sidescan Processing
Tekmap developed several programs to assist in sidescan data processing. We processed sidescan data and produced map products for a number of locations across Canada. These geographic locations include: Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, British Columbia, and Northwest Territories.
Photogrammetry
We used digital photogrammetric methods to analyze coastal change at several sites in Eastern and Northern Canada. This process involved rectification of aerial photographs from available years and digitization of coastal features to be measured for quantitative assessment of coastal change. These geographic locations include: Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Northwest Territories.
Custom Software
Tekmap developed a number of software tools for specific clients and for in-house use. These applications include: custom GUIs for GRASS and MB-System, ice scour tracking, sidescan processing, profile plotting, navigation, and data logging tools.
