Control Points Module
Screen shot of the Control Points window
Tekmap added a rectification Control Points module to the GRASS Interface to make selecting and manipulating control points easier. The Control Points window opens in the GRASS Interface, as a special, split-pane, tabbed window. Users can select points for a GRASS raster file or an external image. Control points are saved to an XML file with optional output to a gdal_translate compatible file.
The GRASS Interface provides support for point selection, which can be used for image rectification. The interface does not perform the actual rectification. It does provide a point export option to a format compatible with gdal_translate and gdal_transform.
